Make It Easy Beijing is now 18 months old!

Make it Easy Beijing (MIEB) was the brainstorm of some long standing members of the International Newcomers Network (INN).  Committed as they were, and still are, to making a contribution to the foreign community. These members realized an additional way to help people learn to ‘Navigate China’. INN is the oldest volunteer organization devoted to newcomers in Beijing.

It is tough to come to a foreign country with a strange new language and settle in easily. The working partner starts the new job, and the homemaker is left to try to buy groceries, open a bank account, find a doctor, choose a school, meet some friends and so on.

INN helps newcomers become acquainted with essential family organizations and services available for the expat in a friendly set location every month.

Beijing has grown beyond its former borders…the foreign community has grown at leaps and bounds.

MIEB was formed to take the INN messages out beyond the former borders, into the many housing developments that foreigners are choosing to live in.

MIEB goes into the community.
MIEB helps people learn about the resources available to them in Beijing.
MIEB makes sure that everyone receives an INN business card and hears about the upcoming INN meetings.
